I have been involved with the sport of dogs since I was a small child, attending shows and field trials with my parents and continuing my involvement as an adult. As owner of Dachshire Dachshunds, I participate in conformation shows, obedience, field trials, and earth dog tests.  I have been successful in titling my dogs in each of these areas.  I also have registered Therapy Dogs that work in the community at Nursing Homes and Rehabilitation Centers. 

I teach a Responsible Dog Owners class to second grade students at the local school along with members of my all-breed dog club.  I am the AKC Delegate for Carroll County Kennel Club and a member of Dogs of The Granite States (D.O.G.S.) which works with legislators to pass responsible animal laws in the state of New Hampshire.  I am a past President of the Bay Colony Dachshund Club, a member in good standing of the Dachshund Club of America and am on the Board of Directors for the Dachshund Club of America.
